Sheila’s presentation is meant to be inspiration to anyone wanting to capture the beauty of the night sky.
A decade ago her passion for the stars led her to become a member of the RASC(Royal Astronomy Society of Canada). From there she was introduced to the world of photography! Both of these avenues opened up a door to learning how to capture nightscapes as well as deep sky imaging.
Her hope is to share some of the amazing celestial objects and events that the universe has given us to explore. She will speak of a variety of tips, tricks and creative ideas that she has personally learnt in the field when photographing auroras, milky way, meteor showers and more!
